Christmas Bling Decor and Tags

I used MY DIGITAL STUDIO to create these gift tags. Then I added glitter for some much needed bling! I used Crystal Effects around the edge of the tags and sprinked our chunky essentials (#108797 $15.95)glitter on top. This glitter bundle includes red, black, silver, and white. It was so easy to create them with MDS. They best part is I don't own several of these stamp sets in real life...but I do in my virtual world....tee hee.
I hope you can join me on Monday night for my MDS class. It's only $5 and I'll show you how to make these Christmas gift tags plus a lot more!
My Digital Studio: #118108 $79.95
I'm giving away a free MDS on Dec 1st! Your name can go into the drawing with every $50 purchase!

Bling Decor! I am finally finished decorating for Christmas! I couldn't wait to share with you my Ho Ho Ho garland. Talk about bling! This chipboard garland is already glittered for you and only $12.95 in our Holiday mini catalog #117613. You not only get 1 large garland but you get 2 small garlands too. I turned the small ones into ornaments and placed them on my wreath.

Bleaching T-shirts with Vinyl Decor Elements

Recognize the fun shapes on this little girls shirts? Yes, they are from our SU! decor element vinyl sheets! Would you like to learn how to make these? Oh...and guess what?! See the owl? I used that one twice!!! Yes, I saved it by sticking it back to the paper it came on. And the best part...these decor elements are only $4.95 each!

Below is the shirt I made for my son. This decor element is $11.95 but I got it FREE for spending $50 in the gift giving brochure! All you need is a t-shirt, decor element, and bleach! Sound easy? Follow these steps...
1. Think about what you want on your shirt. I choose the surfer decor element for my 11 year old son and he wanted me to place it on the back of the shirt. See photo: The white piece is what the decor element looks like when it arrives. The black shirt is what it looks like after I applied it. See directions for applying. 2. Add 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water into a spray bottle. (When completed with project discard bleach.)3. Put cardboard or something in between your shirt before bleaching. Also decide if you want bleach on the arms or hide them behind the back.

4.I took my shirt outside to spray it with bleach. Spray generously to get this look. Let it sit for a few minutes until your get the look you want.

5. Blot off excess bleach that is "sitting" on decor element before peeling off. See in photo where I started pulling the vinyl off the shirt?

6. Rinse the shirt with water.

Pretty cool don't you think? Leave a comment! Do you have an idea that would look cute? How about trying it on a bag, bib, jeans, etc....

Shirt above was done with a Stampin up stencil.
You don't get the intricate clean cut design but it's still fun!

Regional Training 2009, Tyler

This year we tried something new for our Stampin' Up! Regional Training. It went great! Here are some photos of the event. Usually we have to travel to a larger city and pay for hotel, food, gas, etc... but this year SU! offered a video. We saw so many cute things that were very inspiring. We also had live demonstrations from local demonstrators. Karen Kerr created this adorable posie using felt. She demonstrated the rose made with ribbon in the middle. It was so cute!Santa bag above is made using die cuts.
Box below is made by Samantha Robertson using the following: Decor Element Blocks $9.95 116829
Decor Elements Holiday Mix Black #116830 $9.95I love the way Sam tied this bow on the top of her boxes. Cute!
April Roycroft designed this book on my Digital Studio. She also shared a cool tip when printing cards. She put an MDS card on the front and the inside. Then she cut them apart and used as a card front. That way you get 2 cards for the price of one. I demonstrated our Glittered Chipboard from the Holiday mini. It's so fun, easy, and inexpensive!Sam brought this jar and tree to share. Fun ideas!Karen Kerr created this cut felt build a bear gift box...precious!Karen also created the gift tags below and the the cute snowman thank you's above. What a fun gift to give...along with crayons to color in the snowman!
